We’ve just launched two brand new formats, that are customizable and interactive, to increase user engagement and help you meet your goals.
The new formats are: Rich Media and Interstitials, already available at Adport. In this article, we’ll explain how they work and how you can customize them.
Rich Media ads are dynamic display interactive ads, available only for mobile, that include advanced features, and encourage users to engage with the advertised content!
Picking the right skin is essential! At Adport, we offer you 4 different rich media skins to try out!
📌 Casket: A display ad that expands from the bottom of the site and then colapses to stay fixed at the bottom of the site.
📌 Puncher: Two images that appear at the bottom of the site and stay fixed until the user interacts with them.
📌 Spinner: A small rotating image that stays fixed on the bottom right side corner of the site spinning two different images like the two faces of a coin.
📌 Tripod: A set of three images appearing from the bottom of the site that remain fixed until the user interacts with them.
Interstitials are interactive full screen or overlay clickable ads that cover the interface of the app or website.
They are a great way to monetize a website, since they are an aggressive format that provide very high CTRs, for a very simple reason: being full-screen, they capture the user’s attention and the user is obligated to interact with the ad, either closing it to continue browsing the site, or clicking on it to land on the ad.
At Adport we offer two types of interstitial skins: the classic and the scratch skin.
📌 Classic: Made out of just one image that covers the interface of the website.
📌 Scratch: The user has to, as the name suggests, scratch the image to reveal the final ad. The second image then points to the final destination url of the advertiser when the user clicks on it. It’s more dynamic and user engaging, since it encourages users to be a part of the ad.
Both skins are available for desktop, tablet and mobile.
